Market Data & Exchange Information Notice

Last updated: 04/07/2026

This Market Data & Exchange Information Notice (“Notice”) explains how market data and exchange information made available through Tickblaze (“we”, “us”, “our”) may be used. It also outlines the rights, limitations, and disclaimers associated with the data we distribute, including information provided by CME Group and other exchanges.

This Notice supplements the Tickblaze Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy. All existing documents remain in full force and effect.

1. Market Data & Information Disclaimer

Market data, pricing, quotes, statistics, and any related financial information (“Market Data”) available through Tickblaze may originate from third-party data vendors, exchanges, and infrastructure partners, including CME Group and other regulated markets.

Neither Tickblaze, nor any data providers, nor any exchanges or their affiliates:

  • Guarantee the accuracy, adequacy, timeliness, or completeness of any Market Data;
  • Accept liability for errors, omissions, delays, interruptions, or defects in Market Data;
  • Accept responsibility for any actions taken in reliance on the Market Data.

All Market Data is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or performance suitability to the fullest extent allowed by law.

You agree that all trading decisions are made at your own risk.

2. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, neither Tickblaze nor any exchange (including CME Group), market data vendor, or affiliate will be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages;
  • Trading losses, loss of opportunity, or loss of profits;
  • Interruption, unavailability, delays, or inaccuracies in Market Data;
  • Any damages arising from reliance on Market Data or inability to access it.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so portions of this section may not apply. In all cases, any liability that cannot be excluded is limited to the minimum amount permitted by law.

3. Intellectual Property & Permitted Use

All Market Data provided by Tickblaze is protected by intellectual property rights held by the originating exchanges, data vendors, or Tickblaze.

You agree not to:

  • Redistribute, resell, or sublicense Market Data to any third party;
  • Use Market Data to create financial products, indexes, benchmarks, or derived works without authorization;
  • Reverse engineer, manipulate, or modify Market Data or related software systems;
  • Bypass or interfere with access controls, entitlements, or reporting mechanisms.

Your access to Market Data is limited, revocable, non-exclusive, and for internal use only as outlined in Tickblaze’s Terms of Use.

4. CME Group & Exchange-Specific Requirements

For Market Data originating from CME Group:

  • Use of CME data may require additional permissions or licensing.
  • Non-display use, such as algorithmic trading, automated decision systems, quoting models, or risk engines may require a separate license directly with CME.
  • Redistribution outside your organization requires explicit CME approval and may trigger reporting and fees.
  • CME Group and its affiliates retain full ownership of their Market Data and intellectual property.

Tickblaze, as a CME Vendor-of-Record (VOR), facilitates compliance, access, reporting, and entitlement management, but does not grant rights beyond what the CME permits.

5. Data Availability & Service Interruptions

Tickblaze does not guarantee:

  • Continuous access to Market Data,
  • Uninterrupted service,
  • Latency-free delivery, or
  • Real-time accuracy at all times.

Market Data availability may be affected by:

  • Third-party vendor systems,
  • Network or exchange outages,
  • Maintenance windows,
  • Platform updates,
  • User connectivity issues.

Tickblaze is not liable for any trading or financial losses resulting from such issues.
